Event Image for Arts Etobicoke’s Seniors Arts Program at Cloverdale HUB

Weekly art classes for seniors in Cloverdale Mall. The program will run twice a week on Wednesdays and Fridays between 11:00 am - 1:00pm from Jan 12 - April 1st.

Join facilitator Marjan Verstappen as she explores new visual arts activities in every class. We will also have some exciting guest instructors in dance, movement, storytelling, and Indigenous arts. Classes are free, and proof of vaccination is required. In order to manage capacity and health and safety protocols registration is mandatory.

Classes are in Unit 218, located next to Bulk ‘N’ Bits near Guest Services. Depending on current Health and Safety Guidelines in response to the COVID-19 Pandemic, classes may move entirely online.

Cloverdale Mall is a west end focal point where creative communities are catalysts for neighbourhood transformation. Pass through this year for interactive installations and multimedia exhibitions including the exhibition series HOME(LAND) curated by Claudia Arana; digital arts experiences using Virtual and Augmented Reality with Arts Etobicoke; and a community engaged project online conversations by Farrah Miranda with Lakeshore Arts.
